International   battle   -   2011

On Sunday 30th October we held the Internation al Battle at the Electric Mountain in Llanberis. This competition was between Carluke (Scotland), Drogheda (Ireland), Oxford (England) and the Eryri Group for Wales. Peter Yeo from the East Midlands did an excellent job of judging, with the result that we actually tied with Carluke to win.

Last year we came second, so this was good news. Peter was impressed with the images he saw and the marking was very close

It was great to see the Welsh International Projected Image Salon last night in Bangor and especially good to note that several North Wales people not only had acceptances, but also awards, namely:

Phil Chadwick (FIAP Ribbon) Gasreth Jenkins & Steve Lloyd - awards David Flitcroft

This is a quick reminder that you can see more excellent photography this weekend

Saturday 29th 2.00 at Craig-y-Don, Llandudno PETER YEO - print lecture Sunday 30th 2.00 at the Electric Mountain Peter Yeo will judge a Battle between Carluke (Scotland), Drogheda (Ireland), Oxford (England) and the Eryri Group for Wales.

We are extremely fortunate to be able to see so much good photography in North Wales this month, even if it has been a bit concentrated.

Hope to see you at one or both of these events.
